There are a few deciding factors that need to go into breast augmentation before making the final decision to have this type of surgical procedure done. The first of these is size. Breast implant size is one of the most important characteristics that determine the end result of a breast augmentation procedure. Breast implant size is measured in ccs, typically from 200cc to 600cc. Implant size choices usually come down to a combination of the patient's anatomy and the degree of naturalness of the desired final result. Another factor to consider is the type of surgical incision that the surgeon will make when the operation is underway. Sometimes, however, the excess fat is accompanied by a moderate amount of excess skin. In this case, Dr. Nyame recommends both liposuction and removal of the excess skin. In more severe cases of excessive skin, cases in which the skin hangs done from the breast, the best Gynecomastia treatment option is removal of both fat and skin as well as replacement of the nipple. This procedure pulls the nipple back up to a normal location.
